InfoSonics Corporation, including its subsidiaries and its verykool® brand (collectively “InfoSonics”) respects your privacy. InfoSonics provides this Privacy Statement (the "Statement") to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you submit to Verykool’s website located at www.verykool.net (the “Site”) and that is collected when you visit the Site. By accessing or using the Site or providing information to InfoSonics through the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Statement.
In addition to this Statement, for certain special offers, areas of the Site, or certain services, activities or promotions, InfoSonics may present different or additional personal information practices and terms specific to those programs at the time the information is collected.
Collection of Personal Information
When you visit the Site, InfoSonics may collect information when you choose to submit it, as well as automatically when you use the Site.
- Personal Information You Submit. InfoSonics collects personal information when you submit it to the Site (for example when you sign up for downloads, promotions, surveys, etc.). The personal information collected may include your name, birth date, address, phone numbers, email address, account information (such as account and online registration) and other specific personal information. In some cases, the personal information InfoSonics asks you to provide will be mandatory to participate in a particular activity, service or promotion. Our goal is to provide you with better products and more effective customer service, make our sites and services easier to use by eliminating the need for you to repeatedly enter the same information and detect fraud and abuse. Also, InfoSonics may use your personal information to communicate with you. We may send service communications such as welcome emails, information on technical service issues, and security announcements. InfoSonics may also occasionally send you product surveys or promotional mailings to inform you about other products or services available from InfoSonics, and to fulfill promotions. Sharing Personal Information
Except as described in this Statement, InfoSonics’ practice is to not disclose personal information about you outside of InfoSonics and its affiliates without your consent, which may be express or implied, and given in writing, by using or not using a check-off box, electronically, orally, or by your conduct, such as use of services or products. InfoSonics does not sell, rent or lease its user lists to third parties. However, InfoSonics may disclose personal information to its third party service providers (which are obligated to maintain confidentiality and security of the personal information and are restricted from using such information other than as authorized by InfoSonics or as otherwise permitted by law) so they may complete transactions or perform services on InfoSonics’ behalf, transactions on your behalf, or transactions related to providing services to you. For example, InfoSonics may contract with third parties to host the Site, collect and provide product reviews, provide promotions or surveys, send InfoSonics’ emails, fulfill promotions, etc. However, InfoSonics will restrict those third parties to using the information in connection with the services they provide. InfoSonics may also disclose personal information to comply with the law and lawful requests or legal process, protect the rights or property of InfoSonics and its customers, and when InfoSonics believes in good faith that the disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of InfoSonics, its employees and customers, or the public.
Children Under Age 13
InfoSonics does not knowingly collect, and does not want to collect, personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not provide InfoSonics any information about yourself, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address (directly, or on site bulletin boards, blogs, etc.). If InfoSonics discovers personal information from children under age 13, we will delete that information.
Email Preferences
You may opt-out of receiving future marketing emails from InfoSonics by following the instructions in email. If you opt-out of receiving future marketing emails, InfoSonics may still send you service communications such as (but not limited to) support and security updates and product recall information.
Access and Updates to Personal Information You Submit
You may be able to update your personal information through the Site by updating registration information you provide in connection with the Site. You will be required to sign in with your user name and password. InfoSonics does not maintain all personal information it collects in a form that can be accessed or updated by you. InfoSonics may keep records of changes to your personal information (including deletions).
Security of Personal Information
InfoSonics is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. InfoSonics and vendors we may select to provide hosting services for the Site use a variety of security technologies and administrative procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure with security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Internal access to users’ private and non-public personal information is restricted to Site administrators and others on a need-to-know basis.

This Statement does not modify or alter other agreements you may have, or enter into later, with InfoSonics. For example, InfoSonics’ Terms of Use only govern your use of the Site. You may provide personal information to InfoSonics through other means, such as when you call customer service or send personal information related to promotions or product registrations via postal mail. In such instances, this Statement does not apply to your submission of personal information to InfoSonics via postal mail.
Changes to this Statement
InfoSonics may periodically update this Statement to reflect changes in its practices or applicable laws or regulations. If the updated version of the Statement contains material changes to how InfoSonics collects, uses, or shares your personal information, InfoSonics will post a prominent notice of the updated version on the Site or send you an email.
